Deidre Schexnayder
Deidre Schexnayder, Vice President of Operations, has been with Vornado/Charles E. Smith since June 1993. She has been involved in the commercial real estate industry in a variety of capacities over the past 21 years, beginning as the Director of Research Services for Building Owners and Managers Association International.
Ms. Schexnayder currently serves as an Arlington County Board appointee on the Emergency Planning Action Commission. Her various professional affiliations have included serving as a member of the Board of Directors for the Arlington County Chamber of Commerce (2005 – 2009), serving as their County Board appointee on the Arlington County Fiscal Affairs Advisory Commission (2007 – 2009), as well as the commercial real estate representative on the Arlington County Solid Waste Committee (2005 – 2009).
Ms. Schexnayder is active in the Institute of Real Estate Management and Building Owners and Managers Association International. She has served as President of IREM Chapter 77, and received the CPM of the Year Award in 2004. She served as the EER/Research Products Committee and Task Force Chair for BOMA International from 2004 to 2006.
Ms. Schexnayder holds a MBA from the University of New Orleans and a B.S. in Merchandising and a B.A. in French, from St. Mary’s Dominican College, New Orleans, LA.
