Joan Berman
Joan Berman, Senior Vice President of Management Services, oversees the management of the Vornado/Charles E. Smith wholly owned portfolio. She has direct responsibility for the day to day operations and financial performance of the properties.
Ms. Berman has been with Vornado/Charles E. Smith for 4 years and has over 30 years experience in property management. She has overseen the management operations of several real estate firms in the Washington Metropolitan Area including the Carey Winston Company (now Transwestern), the Manekin Company, Spaulding & Slye and Blake Real Estate. She has experience in both office and retail management.
Ms. Berman is a member of the Board of Directors of AOBA, the Crystal City BID, the Downtown BID and the DC Jewish Community Center where she has served as Treasurer and member of the Finance Committee and is an active member of CREW.
Ms. Berman has an MBA in Finance from American University.
